It looks like you are removing oil from the brake line. Do you need to add more oil? If so how?

You can add more oil by performing a full brake bleed or by just pushing oil into the top of the of the brake line using the cup and plunger

There is a lockout on the XF800 forks or unlocked, its the red knob on the right fork leg

What he trying not to say is that the fork is a POS and can't be adjusted, probably a spring, with a "lock-out", so it's either working to whatever low standard it can manage or it's not there. Junk, the entire bike.

You should explain better the importance of tapping the hoses to get bubbles moving up toward the handle, and you glossed over totally how to deal with hose curves further back and lower down that form an inverted ‘U’ air trap, maybe not on the XF900, but some bikes huh!
