Buffing forest fortitude: Choose one: Transform a 2/2 Treant into a 5/5 Ancient if you have one, otherwise summon a 2/2 treant, or gain 2 attack and 2 armor, or refresh 3 mana crystals.

Can you not choose the same thing twice with Forest fortitude. Thats how branching paths works i think. In that case it should only refresh 2 crystals to be balanced

You definitely can, I may have just worded it poorly when I said 3 mana refresh 3. Basically the first choice would refresh the 3 paid to cast it, then the second choice would refresh 3 more, so in the end you'd be refreshing 3 mana. If it was refresh 2 it'd only refresh 1 in the end, basically be a 3 mana innervate.

@@ahpauloh I think the idea behind the card is to choose 2 different option, perhaps "choose twice" wasn't the best keyword to use here. The reason you have this one strong option and the two weak ones would be to make this card basically 0 mana for a minor effect like 2 atk or summon a treat that has like manathirst 3

Curse of annihilation could actually discover a minion from hand and deck. It could be maybe 1 blood rune only.

Forest Fortitude could make just make all the numbers on the card "3". That's a flavor that Blizzard does a lot. Surely you thought of that too. :P I don't think in today's meta that would be overpowered. Two 3/3's on turn 3 maybe. But if you make them 3/2 or 2/3 it loses this perceived flavor. Piloted Polluter is a cool idea, but it's too punishing. I think it should, first of all, have elusive, and its mana cost reduced to 5...or even 4. If it was 4 mana, maybe without elusive. Curse of Annihilation seems more like a Warlock card to me than a DK.

So I did consider that for Forest Fortitude, but the only problem is treants are typically 2/2's and it seemed weird having them as 3/3's lol

Honestly i like how you talk about those cards really nice description of why they are good why bad etc but i entirely disagree with what you said about that DK card. Mostly because they made spell, hero card and titan and spell is basically useless and they try to force that archetype so badly which take cards from other archetypes, titan is runeless and perfect because you can play it everywhere, and hero card is again wasted because you can play it in like 3 types of deck. Cards like that should not have runs CNE could be just nerfed and runs should be taken away but idea of card isn't bad there is problem with how many cards per expansion dk is getting, but hero card is just straight up bullshit for me why does it have runs Sorry a little runt, but i am quite annoyed with how state of dk is looking now, he may have nice winrates but that class have too big problems overall

I agree and disagree, The Primus works without runes because it has aspects of all three, while I feel like Curse of Annihilation doesn't really feel like a frost rune card. BUT I do agree that the rune system is a mess and really cripples the class, making it feel like three lesser classes instead of one complete class. I really wonder if the system will be reworked or completely removed at some point.

@@ahpauloh I understand, and i wish they either rework rune system by just removing one rune from all cards (or most cards, for sure from triples) or add option to have 4-5 runs because problem is simple each "class" have something lacking -unholy ability to survive (when it isn't just pure agro which you have two or more option for it not to be just that -Frost board clear a bit of healing etc, am i wrong or frost is kinda dead now ? -Blood lack basically dmg and corpse generation
