Best trigger on the market and excellent quality. But, I’m an outlier. I personally believe a .22 is an excellent carry option. Think about it. If your goal is to stop the threat, a .22 will suffice. And if u kill, well that’s fine too. I don’t care who you are or what pistol brand it is, noone is gonna be able to get 6, or 7 or 8 shots on target with a 9mm. The oh shit factor, the adrenaline etc, and the kick …it’s too much to carry whereas after one shot of the .22, SUBSEQUENT shots are much easier to keep on target and let’s say u hit the guys body 3 times then a head shot, game over. And think about it. 9mm are still heavy, bulky to carry. .22 are not and are thin and light. If u encounter a threat, most the time u can just show that u have a gun and ur good. I know it’s not a perfect situation and there are def times when u need more stopping power. CL

I have the .40 shield, the sd 40 and the g3c. So far you are correct. I have 2 m&p 40c's, they are my edc. If it isn't number 1 on your list you will be wrong Biden breath.

The problem is the plastic guns. The 40 is great in a well built steel gun, but in plastic, it's a bit jumpy for most people. I know firsthand,if you really need your gun in a life or death situation, you want the 40 no matter what. Or ,like you said, a 357 mag. The 357 is way too loud. In an emergency, you will not have hearing protection and that is far too loud.

.40 is a great gun the problem is that when you are required to hire lets use the word folks that are unable to qualify with a .40 so the light bulb went off to go to the 9mm for all, less punch less recoil but those folks can qualify with that gun instead of allowing both the .40 & 9mm. What I have noticed that now with a 9mm in service, when in a shoot out, that it appears that multi mags are used to stop the threat. This is just my opinion.

Palmetto has the 2.0 Shield 40, no safety, with night sights for $319 currently - while they last, marked as clearance. Effective this date, obviously.

There is one revolver I know of chambered in 40 S&w, the chiappa rhino , they do have them in 40. But I’d rather have one in 357 magnum

2"Rino in 40sw 135grn Underwood, Double Tap, Buffalo Bore, Corbon. Is going to produce more energy than a 2" 357mag. Sorry, go do the chrono tests yourself. Some of the 155grn. 40sw. also outshine 357 in that barrel length.

I'm a huge fan of the M&P Shield 1.0 . It's my EDC. I have to say that it loves 180gr. 165 ends up not having enough power to fully cycle the gun. I've been wondering if it's that pistol specifically, or I just need to have it tweaked by a gunsmith.
