Your house should be featured on the HGTV Handmade Home series! It really is almost all handmade. I have nothing but admiration for your dad, mom, and you for making this home. And a shout-out to Sam and Queenie, too. Queenie seems to love Sam and vice-versa. I think the pullout cabinet is ingenious. Actually, both cabinets are!

Nah, I vote just give Andrew his own show! It would be better and more interesting than majority, if not all, of the shows they currently run. All the shows on now are so boring, bland, generic, run of the mill, uninspiring, etc. This would be a welcome departure from that trend. Bargain Block x Reissued collab would be a dream 😭

Andrew the Bathroom is coming together so well.Turing two drawers into hidden strage was genius and using the offcuts to create the other hidden storage beind the striking artwork was inspired. You and your parents always find brilliant ways to repurpose things. It means you can really get your house looking the way you envision it. The windows look amazing too with the mouldings giving a classic period look. The whole look of your house seamlessly blends the period with the contempoarary but also make it unique to your vision as well. I love how the house is like an ongoing work in progress. You've definitly made thrifting and repurposing into an art form and one that we can all learn from and be inspired by.(matt)

OMG, hidden storage, hidden SAM! I love him already. I think you need to figure out a way to make a hidden room (or maybe a hidden closet) somewhere in the house. Your hidden storage spaces are so well-done, and I could see a tiny little speakeasy-style room (even if it's just a nook with a couch) working well with your aesthetic.

Andrew you and your parents always do exceptional work! I love to see your solutions. I hate to make what sounds like criticism, I think it looks so awesome but I wonder if you’d consider an old glass door knob instead of the towel ring? It would still hold a hand towel but also fit the retro feel of the design. The towel ring is just so triggering! Haha, lived thru many 80’s bathroom refreshes. Can’t wait to see the final design.

@@REISSUED Yeah, I tend to get hardcore with paint on anything that gets handled, because it can be really annoying if it has to be redone in the future. I'm the type that wants to be done with a project once it's done, haha.

I would have used 1/2 or 3/4 curtains so that you could still get light from the upper part of the window while still having privacy - though that's not a perfect solution of course, and what Andrew wound up using looks elegant

Well it is coming along nicely. Thinking on dead space on right side. Looked like several inches, so maybe bifold like door made out of the bead board. Store excess toilet paper… but of course you in space, I’m seeing on video. Either way, great process of using other items.
