This video opened my eyes to the severity of catastrophic failures. The content is well-presented and manages to keep you engaged throughout. Great job!

7:20 Let us all not forget, the Vikings and Christopher Columbus, among many other early sailors, sailed these same seas with tiny wooden ships. It's simply amazing the nerves of steel those guys must've had.

2:28 Is that the Manly Ferry, (Sydney, Australia)? That trip across the heads in a heavy swell is a national pastime!
From the very beginning of the video, I had to shake my head. Right after the guy hits the shore on his speed boat, he looks back at what he hit. Why? I saw that in a motorcycle crash video, the difference being that the biker only took a glancing blow against a concrete post, then looked back. A moment later, distracted by what was already behind him (he hit the post because he was distracted to begin with), he plunged off the edge of a boat slip. The act of looking back - as though the thing you hit is somehow more important and/or more responsible than your own steering and what's ahead of you - is a sure symptom of someone whose focus is all wrong - an accident waiting to happen. Another good example is at 2:18, when the guy towing the catamaran with an ATV looks back in fear that the trailer will go out of control on the descent. What does that cause to happen? The trailer going out of control on the descent.
