Here is the famous granola recipe that is referenced in this video! We are poor recipe followers, so this is approximate - ha! -1/4 Cup Honey -1/4 Cup Olive Oil -1lb Rolled Oats -3 oz Pumpkin Seeds -6 oz Sliced Almonds - Cinnamon (to taste) - Pink Himalayan Sea Salt (to taste) Mix dry ingredients in large bowl. Heat honey & olive oil over low heat until warm & por over dry ingredients. Stir. On a parchment paper lined cookie sheet, spread mixture evenly. Bake at 350* for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Remove & cool. Feel free to mix in other ingredients, but this is our standard line-up! :)

Awesome - the best point of entry is running with as much as you already have! We’ve slowly added pieces over the past 2.5 years :) The only major necessity for us are the window nets (& the fans/batteries if you’re staying somewhere a little warm!). We have another video with our top 10 items if you want to check it out :) best wishes for the road!

Love this video, Dev and Phil! It's been so much fun following your adventures while I finish building my own little RAV4 camper, and this was especially helpful. And just a word of encouragement--the two of you are so warm and inviting in these videos that I smile whenever one of your thumbnails shows up. Keep up the great work! Happy travels.

Thanks so much for your kind words! Building a small KZitem channel is hard work, so it’s great to hear that our videos are landing in the way we hoped :) Excited for you to get on the road in your RAV4 camper - we’ve absolutely loved our adventures in ours so far!

Ooh, can you post your granola recipe? Always looking for a good homemade granola! I'm with you guys on the food and gas sitch. I have to stay pretty local for now, so I just stop by my fave Mexican take-out for a ginormous breakfast burrito that lasts for multiple meals, a big thing of fresh salsa, and some beans for added protein. This, along with a few beers, tortilla chips, maybe a little sweet treat, and fixin's for coffee are all I need in my SUV camper:). Super helpful Q&A, thank you.

Yes - will do! It’s definitely our favorite granola recipe & super simple. I’ll post later today & let you know :) Picnicking definitely works for us - what more do you need than a burrito, sweet treat, & some beer? Haha we keep it pretty simple, but then will occasionally splurge on local cuisine!

Very helpful video, thanks!! Since you stay at so many campgrounds have you ever had any push back with sleeping in your SUV? Do you have a decoy tent or needed to set one up at a KOA or some other place?

Thanks for the kind words! We don't use a decoy tent & we haven't had any pushback except for one KOA in the northeast where they ended up moving us to an RV spot for free. Otherwise, no issues whatsoever! Since so many others book tent sites with either campervans or rooftop tents, SUV campers are usually no issue. We do always book a site that has parking on-site :)
