I loved all your tips... regarding packing cubes, there are ones with clear tops so you can see what is inside. Sold on... wait for it! Amazon

When we went to Senegal, we found an art piece that would not fit in our luggage. We bought a suitcase there and was able to check it because we had not reached our check bag limit.

I’m sorry, but I’m going to have to mention some white privilege here. I know some people want to pretend that white privilege doesn’t exist. However, just the fact that someone can assume that no matter where they go they have something for their hair type and hair products that work is a privilege. It’s not that anyone have to feel guilty. It’s just that it’s a real issue that some people have to think about. Just like someone who’s not handicap doesn’t think about wheelchair ramps. For people who don’t have certain hair types it’s really great to go ahead and pick up toiletries in their new city. However, if you were African-American or a person of African descent you cannot assume that they will have hair care products where you’re going. Austria is a very good example of a place that has extremely limited African-American community. Good luck trying to find products. One tip I would give is for black woman is to have your hair braided before you go. Or of course you can bring your own products, but it may weigh you down.

You don't have to apologize. So much truth. I actually mentioned in a packing video that black women should consider protective hairstyles for traveling so they don't have to worry about their hair as much when they are traveling. Thank you for your comment. 💕

@@KRodCollective I’m new to your channel. I like to travel. I will check out your other videos. I’ve only been to 16 countries so far but I hope to go to more. I definitely make sure that I have my own products or I get my hair braided or wear crochets

@@hockeygirl8401 Welcome! 16!! That's amazing! Yes, I always have to make space to bring my own hair products. A lot of my friends make sure to get their hair braided too before the trip, just makes it so much easier. Safe travels! 💕

Girl, thank you for your videos, I truly appreciate it as a solo traveler myself.... I am traveling again in a week and for the first time ever I am nervous as I have never used a shuttle car service that will bring me to my hotel. The service says it will only wait for 45 minutes, what if my gate is super far from baggage claim and I get lost, bahhhh loll (I am a slow walker) I would hate to miss him, and are these people responsible, and do they require tips, so many questions hahahaha... thanks again girl for all your tips!! This is the first time I think where I wish I had someone traveling with me. lol

Thank you for watching!!! Ooohhh girl, I totally get it. Some trips, I'm like "Oh, I got this, it's nothing." And then other trips I'm like "what am I doing?!" 😂😂 But you got this, you truly do!! If I use a shuttle service, I usually give a small tip, usually around $1 or so. I hope your trip went well! Big hugs from one solo traveler to another! 🤗❣️

@@KRodCollective Thanks so much for answering me, much appreciated. I wish I could give feedback on how it went, would you believe the day before I had to leave, I got so sick I had to cancel my trip?? So sad, but hopefully I can rebook soon! Where are you off to next? :)

@@AaliyahAali Hi!! I'm so sorry for my late response. Oh no!! That's actually happened to me before too. I hate traveling when I'm sick. It's wise that you cancelled it. Did you get a chance to make it up? My next trip is back to Europe for my birthday in about 2 weeks!
