I hope they soon add Nikon to the list to go from Lightroom and keep the matching profile

Thank you . Perhaps in LRc you could use the compare mode to show images alongside each other . As for color matching . Is it really that critical to match to the original when in all probability in post processing the color / light will be changed . I wonder what issues there would be ( if any ) if using “edit with “ from LRc ..is it the same issue you showed with process with . I am a Fuji shooter so cannot check. Hopefully you are logging the issue you encountered with Topaz . They are usually very quick to respond . They still haven’t fixed the problem encountered with an image changed to bnw before going to TPai . The issue being that after TPAi the image is corrupted in LRc Thanks for your work 👍👍👍

Just a FYI. Topaz Photo AI does not work on the Qualcomm Snapdragon chip. Won't even install. OTOH the new DxO PL8 works on that chip, but is very slow to export back to LrC if the XD2S NR is applied. LrC NR runs but VERY slowly. PS runs fine. So if you bought one of these machines for the long battery life and low weight, be aware of the current limitations for NR. Just some info people might like to know. ps: Haven't tried TK8 yet on this machine, maybe tomorrow.

Is it possible to crop to exact dimensions or even close to exact dimensions,, I'm wanting to crop images for a 4k tv screen, I can't type in the numbers I want and even just moving the crop box doesn't give me accurate information, thanks

Unfortunately, I've returned to version 3.1.3, as this version introduces some issues when exporting certain photos or after upscaling unrelated to the raw colour profile. Also, on top of it when enhancing text, it returns an error.

My images generally go through Helicon Focus first and are imported into Topaz photo AI as a .DNG. Shouldn't this carry the color space information? Topaz does not show the color space for DNG files.

Thank you for your tutorials, Dave. A couple of hours ago I edited a Nikon raw file using Topaz Photo AI. I tried adjust lighting but after trying different values I decided that the image looked better without it, so I removed it. However, when the image was saved it was saved as a TIF file, not as a DNG and I did not know why or how to change it. Now that you mention that using adjust light or adjust color the image will be saved as a TIF, I am thinking that maybe there is a bug in the software and removing adjust lighting does not clear the image to be saved as a DNG. I'll be curious to know if you experience the same issue. I've just realized that I sent my file from within Lightroom and I used a linear profile; maybe this is the real reason for not being able to save my image as DNG. Thank you!

I'm not sure why that happened. It could be do to the adjust lighting but I am not sure. I will have to do some experimenting. Thanks for the info.
