Mallory McAvoy SAME!!! I tell people all the time that Tori raised me. I've been listening to her since I was 11...she has been there for me throughout all of my teen years, my hardships, my relationships, the birth of my children.... Each album marks a milestone in my life. My oldest son is now a senior in high school and watching him and his sisters grow into their own individual selves brings me back to the beginning of my relationship with Tori... I feel like this album will bring everything full circle.

I never thought her approach to her art made her a kook, I never feel she's disingenuous when she speaks about the muses, she's sane and humble so I refuse to listen to people who think she's crazy. And she's never claimed to be finished as an artist. Her music wouldn't have changed so dramatically over the years. She's taught me not to ever ignore my muses or think I'm ever "finished" as a writer.

How about y'all mind your business? Do any of you live with TMJ and have you lived with it for nearly four decades? She HAD to have procedures done to her mouth and face to ease the pain. Otherwise she could have had major sinus problems. I mean, she used to have spine problems that required her sleeping with a back brace cuz of TMJ! And who knows? Maybe she got additonal procedures after. It doesn't matter. There isn't anything wrong with having cosmetic procedures done and it's none of your fucking business what she does with her body. Don't you bring your misogny/internalized misogyny around here.

This topic has been talked about to death, but for the record I don't think Tori ever actually had plastic surgery. I think she just flirted with botox and stuff like that for a while. Her facial structure never really changed, and a big part of it was that she purposely wore very unusual makeup for a lot of touring in the late 2000's
