Thank you so much Jason... very informative and educational... the best Tormach video so far (in my humble opinion). The turret, the explanations, the video and last but not least Jason.... everything very smooth and with a feeling of a good friend or coworker telling me how it works. I really like the style and Jason you surely got a new fan out here! ;) Keep it up please!

Thank you, good video. Can this turret use through-tool coolant? Possibly by a modified right-angle block like those used for boring bars, these transfer the coolant holes to coolant holes on the block, could transfer to the tool instead? This is very helpful when the cut is internal to the part and the external coolant nozzles cannot reach the cutting point.

Hi, very interesting video and a great walkthrough from Jason. It's cool that you publish this type of information about your machines and even offer some neat tricks and tips. I would recommend you to adjust the audio volume between voice and music though - sometimes it is very hard to understand Jason while the music is rather loud. Otherwise thank you very much for bringing such awesome machines to the makers!

Why not use Semi Rigid Flexible Hose instead of Copper Tubing for the coolant flow? I think I will be purchasing 4 of these machines in a few months.

You can use either, but we offer the copper tubing.

I prefer using a gauge block to qualify the offsets. The block has a precise dimension, and it helps to avoid crashing against the workpiece since the block is much thicker than a thin piece of paper or shim. Get the block to slide through without pinning it and you're done.

Using a gauge block is also an excellent way to qualify the offsets.

Ya know the shimming and aligning is the hard part here. Why is there no video on that? Page 16 of the install is completely baffling to me at this point.
