To be fair, depending on the style of taekwondo, both of those are considered proper kicks. The first kick is considered a butterfly kick (kicking with the in side of the foot) and the second kick is called a butterfly roundhouse, or a tornado kick. The tornado and butterfly round focus more on a twist in the hips as well as a kick with either the blade of the foot or the top of the foot (instep). Love the videos man, keep up the good work.

@@elekibattery8759 First kick was like a 360 Inward Crescent Kick (inside). 360 Hook Kick, 360 Roundhouse Kick, 360 Axe Kick... etc. You can create your own moves.

The first one is actually a Tornado crescent kick it's more of a Tang Soo Do/American Kenpo Karate technique. Tang Soo Do is especially known for a lot of Crescent kick variations. Jump spin Crescent kick and the Tornado Crescent kick especially.

Not if you turn your body into the strike and commit fully. This goes for any powerful blow, simple or not. That's how trained fighters are able to punch and kick through things like cinderblocks. It's the force and just letting it fly through your opponent, pushing them with the force rather than just stopping on impact. Of course that's easier said than done and comes with strength, flexibility and most importantly technique.

I wouldn't say either kick is correct or incorrect it's just about what the purpose of the kick is. If it's to hopefully knockout, damage, or create space either works. BUT the first method is a good way to get yourself injured if you let your body continue to rotate despite the kick ending forward.

As far as i know i just thought about it trip your opponent and do a Z with the same leg to hit the heel kind of Step 1 normal trip Step 2 makes a movement and z or s and kicks with the heel and ready new kick won't use it in place or won't anymore it's good Sorry for the eros I'm brazilian

I would say it depends on the style and type of kick you are doing. as in Kung fu/wushu the tornado is alot of times an inside crescent but I do love doing them as round house kicks too.
