I just did mine today on my Toro CCR 3650 what a real pain in the ass!!! All bolts were rusted up, I got both sides on the outer side off but the middle one was so seized up that I cannot get the nut off. You always get the one that just wont come off, I had to cut it with a hack saw and my new one came with new hardware. Also lining it up was a pain in the ass too wedging it under that clip. Mine was about as worn as the one in the video so it could have been the original one, not sure since I bought mine used. My belt housing on the bottom is worn, may buy a new belt cover to replace my old one to make a perfect seal.

Glad you got it done! Mine was a bit of a pain too! But I am always happy to read about someone’s success! Let me know how the belt housing replacement goes. Next up for me is to drain the gas and put it away until next season.

Ok so I guess mine isn’t the only one that leaked. I was fixing some bolts in the paddle and I noticed mine was leaking. The ccr1000 doesn’t leak in that position so I wasn’t sure. Maybe you can do a video on fixing the hole in the belt housing? Mine had a bigger hole in the same spot as yours. I used jb weld steel stick. It’s like clay that hardens into metal. I just slapped it on there, but I want to make it look better.

Definitely not the only one that leaked. I wasn’t sure where the leak came from. But that JB Weld repair is probably something I would try. Just wonder how it would hold up to the fuel.

I'm good. Just out of commission for a while. My wife gave us another baby girl a few months ago and I had a surgery on my foot that has kept me sidelined. Big adjustments.

I found a small silver metal retaining pin inside the sleeve of the plastic scraper on my Toro 2450 but the exploded view schematic show no such part, toothpick size pin . Big mystery
