Now, that's the Science Centre, CN Tower, and city that I once knew and loved (yes, loved, in the past tense).

@@pacman3556I was 5 in 1987 and this is the Toronto I grew up in. You don’t need to be a boomer to have a memory. I’m a millennial. You really need a new word, boomer is soooooo played out 😂😂

Nice to see the OLD Science Centre, before the Weston Family "refit." I miss that old Laser Exhibit and the holograms so it was really nice to see those here in this video. Did you know that Rick Green of the Frantics (who was "Bill" on the Red Green Show) used to be the presenter of that old laser show?

Wait… I watched that show every week … they knew me by name back in the late 70’s early 80’s. I have several pieces of woof and plexi STILL from those demos.

This is the same year and city where I was born. The highways looked so different back then. I drove the Gardener Expressway a few times.

Before hyperinflation eroded the middle class.
@ducttape82

Hyperinflation didn’t erode the middle class, inflation has been at historic lows for a very long time apart from a couple years during covid. Wages not keeping up with inflation, even as low as that inflation has been since the 90s is what has eroded the middle class, along with a spike in housing costs.
