Murdo Fraser wound up the Scottish Conservative Party's stance for the debate on Transparency of Scotland's Governing Party, by highlighting the SNP's conduct.
Mr Fraser savaged the Scottish government's lack of transparency which has been highlighted by recent turmoil engulfing the SNP.
The Tory spoke of the deplorable attempts at cover-up during the Salmond and refusal to release vital documents., he also asked the question 'What has happened to the £600,000 of ringfenced funds raised for another independence referendum?'
In the past month, both its former chief executive, and Nicola Sturgeon’s husband, Peter Murrell and its then treasurer Colin Beattie were arrested in connection with a police probe into the party’s finances, overshadowing the first month of First Minister Humza Yousaf’s time in office.
Both Mr Murrell and Mr Beattie were released without charge pending further investigation.
