Thank you a lot! I decided not to disassemble the machine as far as you did. I stopped at 10:15 but could still clean the fan to a good degree.

The main problem of assembly for me is not merely the sequence of steps, but to remember which bolts belong where. However, counting the numbers of the same type I could correctly assign them in the end.

Dude help! i did this and when i assembled the pc back it doesn't turn on. The only thing that does something when i hit the power button is the front LED, like it gets on, but i can't hear the HDD working, the screen won't show anyting and the keyboard it's totally dead. Any ideas on what might be wrong? i did the process a second time to verify that everything was well conected.

I presume by now you've fixed the problem, but for anyone else reading this, my guess is that you disconnected something and forgot to reconnect it. I had that happen to me. I reassembled my computer and then discovered it wouldn't turn on, so I disassembled it again and discovered that I'd forgotten to reconnect the power switch because I'd managed to trap the ribbon cable underneath the PCB instead of lifting it out of the way while putting the PCB back in place. Once I'd fixed that problem, it all started working again.

I'm probably going to disassemble most of my L755D-S5250, but I don't understand why several cables were unplugged between 7:12 and 8:30 in the video. Is it really necessary to unplug those cables?

Hi, I'm not sure how familiar you are with all the components of this laptop but I have the L755D-S5162 and wanted to upgrade the RAM which seems to be the main issue that slows down my Toshiba. I originally wanted to get 8GB of Corsair Vengeance laptop RAM as it seems to be about the best and is capable of 1600 MHz but I looked again more recently and there's a newer model DDR3L that supports the newest Intel CPUs that specifically need a lower voltage RAM and now the original RAM I was looking at said it was made for older i5s and i7s so I'm not sure if it would work with the AMD A6 in my laptop even though it also says it works with any PC that uses DDR3 SODIMM RAM. I don't want Toshiba brand replacements (if they even sell an 8GB option) so do you have any idea if the Corsair Vengeance RAM I was looking at is compatible with my laptop or any other good brands that sell good RAM, preferably 1600 MHz instead of 1333 MHz? Thanks.

Здравствуйте. Если в Вашем ноутбуке установлен процессор А4 3го поколения (название модели А4-3ххх), то на сколько я знаю - да, такая замена возможна. Вот список взаимозаменяемых процессоров с AMD A8-3500M: www.cpu-world.com/Sockets/Socket_FS1.html

why is there no sound?
@geoffvost2760
6 жыл бұрын
'cos its for a TOSHIBA and they have a known sound problem that affects most of their laptops. Being Toshiba, they just ignore their customers rather than support them. In fact they have now completely washed their corporate hands of all "consumer" laptops and have turned their love and attention to the business sector, ...until that too begins to have problems and they will see how Toshiba handles their needs!!
