I don't remember if i said this already, but this podcast is just great. You two are the first channels i started watching consistantly on youtube back in BF3 days, back when i had enough internet to watch each of your videos at super low quality and that was about it, thanks rural canada internet.... Anyway, still enjoy listening to the banter 10 years later, whcih is kind of wild

"The Adventures of Pinocchio" is a novel written by Italian author Carlo Collodi, published in 1881. Disney simply made a movie adaptation, it didn't create the character.

As a big vr enjoyer, its unfortunate that there are so many that do have motion sickness. As the experience to walk through a well crafted world is amazing! Its why going through good player made worlds in VRChat is one of the fantastic parts of VR. Agreed though the market for VR is niche atm. Its mainly racing and flying sims, with some gun play games and standing still style of games of which beat saber is a lot fun. That being said, i hope VR will continue to push forward for well crafted worlds that you can explore despite the limited video game player base they can advertise to. But even more than that i hope there will be more games that allow both PC and VR to play together seamlessly, so that if someone wants to experience said game in vr, they can. This i think should be the future.

About VR. I think RTS VR would be awesome. Can you imagine having a map, looking at the horizon and seeing enemy units moving towards you? Supreeme Commander would look quite impressive with those enormous robots... especially because VR gives you a better sense of scale. You guys are doing a great job with the podcast. I'm loving it. Cheers

It's funny with motion sickness. I'm very affected by it in like cars, boats and so on. But in VR? I can in most games run around in first person with the joypad no problem... Some games hit me with sickness, but most don't.

As long as people are paying for 'early access' (and I get why people do, especially content creators) it isn't going anywhere. Look at microtransactions.

Appreciate the DotA mention. It came from Warcraft 3 which had Battlenet. This was the earliest that I can recall developers giving players the ability to make their own maps/content. I actually only bought the game for DotA. Imagine if Blizzard had hired the original creators (IceFrog and Guinsoo come to mind) to make it into something that looks like the juggernauts of League of Legends and DotA 2 today! Instead Blizzard has succumbed to the greed disease that has taken over the industry. Sadge.

To play devils advocate with the cod aim assist debate. I would get accused of hacking when sniping people on Warzone on PC. I got pretty good and controller players hated it lol. So theres pros and cons to both. But controller players do have a huge advantage in close quarters.
