I was going through a hard time all those years back, Marble Hornets became a safe haven for me to escape to at the end of the day. This song helped so much with that, so calm and beautiful while also feeling so sad, always makes me remember the series and all the emotions it made me feel then. Thank you so much for such a beautiful song and so many good memories, even in the hardest of times.

This series is what made Slender Man into who he is today. It came up with the pages, the distortion, the Sickness, the coughing fits, the teleportation, Masky and Hoody and the Operator Symbol. It's the OG and any horror fan who hasn't seen it needs to fix that. This series inspired me to make one of my own and while mine looks like shit by comparison, I still have a lot of fun with it.

seeing as marble hornets is around 13/12 years old, seeing an acoustic version of this is bittersweet. i see this song as everyone's perspective, they're all being lead into the ark as the operator infests their minds. this is very beautiful, thank you madame, for shaping what made my childhood great with creepypasta and the slenderverse.

I love the more "tragic folk song" vibes of this version, while the original sounded more modern and technological (which I also love)- the vibrato, and going low on the chorus instead of high like in the original version, makes it sound like something you'd hear on a rainy street corner or sitting around an elder as they tell a tale of ages past 💛

Ah fuck, it's midnight and I'm laying here, crying over a series I never watched. This song makes me feel sad but also guilty over the fact I hadn't watched Marble Hornets when I first found out about it around 2013/2014. I'm so disappointed in myself for forgetting about it until this month. At least it shows how powerful this song is when it makes me feel so much for something I never experienced; mainly a cocktail of regret, bittersweet nostalgia and wistfulness about the past and for the future, with a sprinkle of loss and hollow loneliness.

This series will always remain the best Slenderseries for me. MARBLE HORNETS just has this sadness and pain to its events that few other series nail down. Sure, it’s horrifying and surreal, but underneath it all, these characters were just a group of guys making a movie when everything went horribly, irreversibly wrong. This song captures that pain and sadness that’s carefully woven into the events of MH. Making me want to rewatch the whole series again.
