@Utopian_Futures

@@PulsingKrugotvoid Honda completely failed within the years before. The season before brawn gp hondas absoulutely blamed by final place 9 of 11 teams. That’s absolutely pitiful. To restructure that pile of garbage was one of the hardest jobs ever in f1, forcing Brawn and some others to work 12, 13 hours everyday to find solutions of financing, sponsoring, staff, innovating etc. despite having a very low budget. This is efficiency, Brawn didn’t need that much money to create a champion car. There is no one else in history of F1, combining technical brilliance and masterful management that epic. He and Michael were the base for that success, he is not only better than Wolff, but especially down to earth, whereas Wolff is bit arrogant due to success. Not to forget that him and Lauda had assassinated ross brawn
@lklivingstone7801

@@Utopian_Futures i read somewhere that honda had been working on the car for a year or so. Just like the currect mercedes who worked for the future sacrificing instant success. Also how Ross Brawn flooded the money they had earlier on due to which later those years they had few success. They built a huge lead in the beginning which led them to the championship. Nonetheless what you say might be true because all I'm saying is from an article, I've started watching f1 from 2014😅. Also i was very young when Brawn won the championship.

Nico on the other hand doesn't care much and will do whatever he thinks is necessary to achieve his goal - he can treat you like an enemy today and a friend tomorrow. Lewis will treat you like a friend but once you cross a line there's no way of rekindling a similar relationship. There will always be a wall.

Mercedes and Toto don't need Max or Leclerc (neither of which are available anyway). They don't care about who wins the driver championship, as long as it's a MB driver. To that end, Bottas is an IDEAL driver for the team and is so far from "useless" that it's laughable. He gobbles up points, is super reliable, fast enough to keep the Red Bull at bay, plays the perfect 2nd to Hamilton, causes zero stress to the team, and is a great guy around the paddock. The goal for Toto and the team is the Constructors Chanpionship. Bottas is perfect for the role he plays.
