A lot of those old Imperial Crown, Custom and Le Baron models had a second rear A/C unit in the trunk for the 60 and 70 models. My dad always ordered that option as we liven in Houston. In the summertime, it would be hot as could be, turn both the a/c units on high and within a minute I was sitting in a refrigerator on the couch going down the freeway. I think certain Cadillacs and Lincolns also had that option not sure. I'm going to have to make it up that way one day and see if they have my next project.

That's the cool part about that place, they have tons of affordable cars. They may not be perfect, but it's easy to find a good solid car to start with. Thanks for having a look.

Honestly, I haven't paid admission in quite a while. They used to have a person at the front gate, but they haven't done that in years. Of course, we give them quite a bit of free advertising too.

I was just wondering if this was the place that went up in flames - I recalled that it was right alongside a major highway and I guess that is what we hear in the background in this video..., I understand that many of these cars are/were consignment vehicles, so I assume that the actual owners had comprehensive insurance coverage and were made whole post-fire? You’d think that the shops biz insurance coverage would have required that they have rudimentary fire suppression (sprinklers) coverage....sad
