Most interesting. Looking forward to any follow-up on the finished organ after it's installed in its new home. Thanks, Johnathan and Brent.

Fascinating! It's a brave move opening up an organ build & repair shop in this day and age but Johnathan certainly looks to have the knowledge and drive to make a success of it. Those Skinner offset chest pneumatics are intriguing - it was probably cheaper back then to do it that way, and certainly reliable. Glad they're being retained - so much historic stuff was lost in the last half of the 1900's by well-meaning "replace not restore" builders and it's important to keep what's left. As always, an excellent video and thank you for posting.

Toilet wax rings are wonderful. I use them for lubricating wood screws.

@21:35 we use the toilet bowl wax ring too, but it's really sticky and it can grab larger stoppers almost too well. The wax is actually called "Slack wax" it's a by-product of crude oil production, it comes in about 10 or so different grades each with it's own melting point set by the ratio of wax to oil it's made from. I was unable to determine what specific formula the toilet bowl wax is, and after looking to see if they had maybe a 10 pound block of it available, it's apparently only sold in 55 gallon drums, and of course the rather expensive toilet bowl rings with the plastic tray and cardboard that gets thrown away after providing a very small amount of ring. Johnathan was a grreat narrator for the whole video, great job!

Wow, 30 years ago I was roundly criticized and ridiculed by the old timers for using toilet wax rings to lubricate and seal pipe stoppers. My how times have changed…

@monikawojdak3037, I think you meant to say church organs are the king of instruments.
