I've heard some examples already on Contrebombarde, so it's good to have a Tour of Stops of this very fine instrument. And very well captured by Rainer Suikat of course. With so many stops (and choices) it's almost impossible to do present every stop, but you come very close. Thanks Paul!

Da sollte man wirklich mal selber hinfahren :))

This organ has such a beautiful and warm presence. Absolutely magnificent and what a tonal range. Love the ethereal mixtures and reeds, also the Fernwerk. The sample set is pricey and uses much RAM, but is absolutely worth it. Paul, I hope to hear many more performances on this organ should you decide to buy the set (or win the lottery). You are truly gifted. Thank you for your wonderful presentation. Very enjoyable.

Now THAT's an orgel! But the price - OMG. €750 is what I saw, but that may not be right. I love this type of organ; we have almost nothing like it in the U.S. I guess the Steinmeyer in Altoona Cath. (PA) would be the closest. Thanks for the great demo, Paul!

Haha, yes! I think it is even close to 900€ - but there is also a free 14-day demo version which I used for this video 😀😊

I'm wondering why they gave the console so few foot controls; some toe pistons are super-useful, yes? The organ sounds sensational, now that I'm listening with my good headphones. But isn't the Konzerthaus Wien set at least as good, for a MUCH lower price?

Eine vom Klang her sehr schöne, spät-spät romantische Orgel.

What a magnificent - and enormous - organ . . . and a fabulous demonstration of its potential by you, Paul. I'm sure you are pleased that you have been able to significantly upgrade your computing power in recent months. Looking at the recommended RAM (54GB for 24 Bit resolution) and 60GB of download, it is a sample set that requires some serious hardware! And, it is not cheap at Euros 900. I'm sure there will be many enthusiastic Hauptwerk organists who have the necessary equipment to really get the benefit from this amazing sample set . . . but it far exceeds what my system can cope with, and I have no plans to expand in order to have a home Walcker organ as impressive as this instrument. But if I won the lottery, I'd certainly reconsider! Bravo on a job well done!

I totally agree with you, Graham! 900€ is quite a price tag - I‘ll also try to win the lottery to afford this one 😀😂

I can not see any point in 24 bit samples, as all organs and spaces were they are installed have fairly high background sound levels. 16 bits give 98 dB of dynamic range and I do not know even any concert halls without organs were the ambient noise would be more than 70 dB below the FFFF of the orchestra. Usually even exceptionally quiet organs have the blower noise only 50-60 dB below tutti levels. In reality the last 10-12 bits in a 24 bit sample are random noise just eating strorage space and processing power without contributing anything to the sound quality.
