I’ve always worked hard to make sure this place is not just another military chow hall toss slopper place. Everything I prepare is a piece of love and pride and I’m not just an ordinary cook in the federal service just out to collect an easy paycheck. I want the Airmen in the dorms and military, DOD civilians, and retirees to have a good meal they’ll enjoy!

Air Force food is pretty good... There is a way you can eat 5 times a day if you really want. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Midnight chow.. is like breakfast for night shift people, 11pm to 130am.. and if you work on the flight line, nights, you can get a inflight meal. When the base is on alert, chow hall is open 24 hours a day.. or used to be. I was 18 and a growing boy, I never had a bad meal in the Air Force. Overseas, in Germany, the food was even better.

You did an outstanding job doing this video and I also just watched the one you did on the new barracks. This is totally different from what I experienced in Air Force 1965 to 1969 and at Elmendorf Jan 68 to Dec 1969. This is awesome. Thanks for the tour

My favorite experience of the AF was the chow hall. The food was always so good, and you could have all you want. I remember dressing up in fatigues to go to midnight chow was the best. In any event, if you can do any more chow hall related videos, at other locations, or more details on this one, I for one love to watch them! :)

Retired AF here. Things like this is what the other military branches hate about the Air Force. I like how he needs to make noise so the moose and bears don't attack. Meanwhile, many other military members are over in Afghanistan, where they try not to make noise, so the enemy won't attack with guns and rockets. The AF has gotten more wussified since I was in.
