Yes, thanks so much. I'll be tearing into my new-to-me 2011 dolly to check it over before using it this summer.

Excellent Excellent description of every thing tow dolly with E-Brakes. Thanks so very much. I just bought a 2011 unit and now have a list, your list, of description on what to do to make sure it's tow worthy. Thanks again. Truck Driver Ray ✝️ Blessings 5/7/23

I try to get things the way you got this. That good price leaves a budget for repairs. I find that I can often buy something used go over it replacing anything needed and come out spending less than a new one. Also I like to buy broken things because I find I go through them for less than a good used unit would cost. In both cases I know exactly what I have. Like you I too often find things that I don’t agree with, in being proactive adjustments save a parts bill later. Like your wiring and that ding on the hub a zip tie saved the harness, filing saved every bearing the dolly will ever have. Not to mention the piece of mind in knowing what’s there .

Nice job and a very detailed explanation on how to keep these tow dollies in good shape. I'm getting ready to make a trip from Florida to Arizona and I plan on pulling the wheel drum apart to inspect everything. I could just grease it from the zerk on the shaft until I see new grease coming out by the castle nut but I'd rather take the time to know if there is any leaking inside from the seal. I also ordered a bearing kit to have on hand when I travel. I've not had that much luck buying parts in the local auto parts store.

They sure are great tow dolly’s. Consider putting on fresh Goodyear tires. I had a blow out. Fortunately, at very slow speed so it didn’t damage the plastic fender. Various on the road repairs kzitem.info/news/bejne/tKWIvpaLbZV6ZaA

Great video, appreciate the help and insight! I just bought the same dolly with electric brakes but my plug doesnt have the center pin, so essentially its a 6 pin and the electric brakes dont work? I also dont have a brake controler in my RV, do i need that? Any ideas? Thanks!
