Nice. I guess I missed that. I did look at a lot of them from the home diy build versions to harbour freight Princess auto and house of contractors. It’s a very important feature. Thank you for letting me know. It’s very appreciated. =]

These are very versatile units, I have the HF version. I put in a new culvert and did a bunch of trenching the first week I got it, already paid for itself. Great units for the homeowner with projects, or small business owners with a lot of small scale digging needs.

@@MrBill-mq7ti Thank you for your reply. That's the same response I've gotten from everyone I've spoken /texted with about the HF one. I guess I was just hoping for an option of sorts to pull it. I own one have had it years great machine for the price. It's light that's why I bought it, needed to do foundation repair on a basement wall that bowed it 26 inches. I few mods to the fill tube to adjust the breather and I could then trench down any slope. I am not sure what the grade would be or how to calculate that but the steepest grade/slope was 21'6" vertical rise 17' 8" horizontal. Once you get it to not leak fluid on slopes it's a beast. Goes and digs on slopes that other excavators and trench's would take a 4 day prep to be able to do.

Any chance you could post some videos of the mod to adjust breather and show it in action on the slopes?

Have you changed out the tires for DOT approved tires yet? If so, how does it handle? I've been staring at the harbor freight variation pretty hard. But I want to be able to tow it without issue. I worry about the welds and the bearings. A few people have mentioned this as their main reason for not towing on road. Any insightful testimony would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I ordered one from Harbor freight when they were on sale for $2499.99 with the HF coupon last May 2020. I was told it would be in October 2020 before they ship. Asked if I was willing to wait, which I said "yes"! Every other machine was too expensive for my budget, The last time I was going to purchase it, was in 2014, when it was on sale for $2099.95 with the coupon, but could not afford to get it back then, So I decided to just get it anyways for the family needs; this time when it was on sale. Plan to do some minor modifications to the trencher after I get it, for tree stump removal.

Incridible excavator, do you receve it assembly from house contractor ? Also, do you consider the red rock 271cc from princes auto? This unit is more like your video demonstration. Sorry for my basic english.
@Jenuin

No worries. The excavators usually come assembled unless you specify or have it shipped. I did ask and it varies from manufacture. I considered PrincessAuto’s and it was one of the cheaper modals for price but very comparable. The features it lacked I could build and install. In the end I decided renting equipment was a better idea. I needed a longer reach and the controls plus machine speed / manoeuvrability stopped me. So I ended up renting as needed. However if I had a cottage up or farm etc I would have totally purchased one. All you need to do is install a good set of hubs and tires with lights and you can tow it. Things like this you are allowed. They are like generators or cement mixers. You don’t need a trailer plate.

I received mine in February of this year and had to be assembled, but very easy to do. I've used it a few times and it works great. I did have to grind down one of the wheel arms. There was too much weld and it would not slide in the hole easily. Also, one of the wheels didn't have a bearing stop, so I had to purchase one and install it; $15. The two handle control is nice. Personal opinion but better than the 4 handle control units. I find it more powerful than I expected. I dug through root soil with the unit at idle and no bogging down at all. I should add that HOC says free delivery, but this unit is heavy and you'll probably want it delivered with a lift truck. The lift truck is not free and cost $149.00, so technically not free delivery.
