This is my Last Total War Rome 2 World cup Land battle Hosted by Curved Bubbles with Syracuse vs Epirus the greek states!
In today's battle, the stakes are high as it is the last chance for me to advance in the group stage of My World Cup hosted by Curve Bubbles. If I win, there will be more videos to come, but if I lose, it's game over. Stick around until the end because there's a controversial twist that I need your opinions on.
The battle has already begun, and I quickly moved my army forward. Assessing the enemy units, I noticed that they had three rodent slingers and two normal slingers, giving them the advantage in missile units. However, I had three tarantine cavalry, giving me the advantage in cavalry. They had four sailing cavalry and one elite shotcap general, giving them the advantage in cavalry units. On the other hand, my infantry was superior, consisting of levees, Italian swords, and knights.
The skirmishing part of the battle had its ups and downs. I countered their two tarantine cavalry with two of my own, aiming to eliminate them quickly. I wanted to engage in combat as soon as possible. Moving my army forward, my slingers took some hits from their 17 cavalry, but it wasn't too severe. Meanwhile, my tarantine cavalry closed in on their slingers. However, their general tried to pursue me, but I had the speed advantage and my slingers targeted him. Realizing the danger, he retreated.
I continued to advance my army, wanting to avoid being slinged down too much. My skirmishing cavalry did a good job taking down some of their slingers, allowing me to enter combat. I managed to get some kills, but I made a big mistake by leaving my camera focused on one area for too long. Their slingers took advantage of this and unleashed a devastating volley, causing significant casualties. I learned my lesson and vowed not to repeat that mistake.
Their turn team cavalry pushed against me, but I responded with a charge from my tarantine cavalry, screaming them out. I wanted to maintain the infantry advantage, so I focused on moving my army closer to the fighting front. My slingers targeted their slingers, while my cavalry attempted to surround their skirmishers. I engaged their infantry with my citizen cavalry, followed by my sunlight warriors. I also made another mistake by not bringing my other units to the main fighting front sooner.
Despite my errors, my units performed well in combat. My slingers and cavalry were effective, and my right flank was winning. However, their general posed a significant threat. He targeted my slingers and cavalry, but engaging him directly would have resulted in heavy losses. I decided to let him kill my slingers and stay close to my infantry for support. My general charged into combat, winning some engagements but also suffering casualties from their slingers.
As the battle progressed, their general attempted to attack my weakened units. I retaliated by charging their slingers with my skirmishing cavalry, while my right flank supported my infantry. Their slingers were almost wiped out, but then their connection dropped. It was suspicious, but they begged for a rematch, and I reluctantly agreed. In the second match, I made more mistakes, ultimately leading to my defeat.
I'm curious to know your thoughts on whether the drop was intentional or not. Regardless, it was an exciting journey in the World Cup, and I appreciate you joining me.
