I’ve got the 1HZ in my 105 series. From the LCOOL website I learnt that the air filter from the petrol motor fits in the diesel air box. It’s bigger with 20% more surface area. Toyota p/n 17801-67060 Ryco p/n A1350, this is for the Hzj105. The bigger filter for theUzj100 is 17801-17020, ryco A1407. This may not fit the troopy but worth looking into.

Okay, one thing I would like to point out. It is very minor, but preferably, you should use the new oil on the oil filter O-ring/ rubber seal. On the 1HZ air box, there is a particle separation bowl underneath the air box. It's on the right side and is held in place by two spring clamps. When you do a service, check that as well and clean it if necessary. The fuel filter hack is bloody brilliant. Today, I learned that prior to 2007 1Hz equipped, Land Cruisers had two fuel filters.... Later, it only had one; you can still buy a brand new 1HZ 70 series in my country.
