I should clarify first that the problem ended up being the timing belt and NOT the Camshaft Position Sensor. However, I'm posting this video in case it helps someone who actually does have a problem with the Camshaft Position Sensor.
This is my mother-in-law's 1999 Toyota Camry CE. The idle speed kept getting worse and worse until it finally died on the side of the road and would not restart. My first guess was the fuel pump, because I've changed just about everything else in the car recently. However, it had a code P0340 (Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction). I put this video together to show how you'd change that part, but it didn't fix the problem. I later changed the fuel pump anyway, but that still didn't fix the problem. I finally took it to the mechanic. It turned out to be the timing belt. We just had that changed around 60K miles ago and they should be good for at least 100K, but I've heard this car has a problem with timing belts. It's going to set her back around $800 to replace the timing belt and all everything connected to it. They're also going to replace the radiator while they're at it because it's cracked and leaking.
