I tell techs all the time,,,,just because it’s new, doesn’t mean it’s good. Especially aftermarket.

Yes indeed it would seem it is current limiting, something installed in the circuit by the manufacturer in that coil pack to reduce heat load almost certainly.

If u getting Coolant in your Plugs its usually headgasket . What happens is the coolant kills the Plug and then inturns someitmes it kills the coilpack . I have experience this a few times
