Well other than Terrain Tamer stitching me up with the pin in backwards, that was piece of piss. Thanks again.

Amazing, along with the good humour you've given me some confidence that I can actually do this. I've done the drive belt, all the pulleys, all fluids- all things I'd usually pay for. I know I have to do my CVs at some stage, relying on clever folks such as yourself to get this done. Big thank you 🙏✌️👍

Very sage advice here. It's absolutely critical to make sure you have those breaks. Can't miss out on smoko

Great video. I just changed mine last week. This video took the anxiety away. I also put marks on the bottom cam with a black marker because it was very hard to see the marks on the car. A 10mm Allen socket on a breaker bar makes the bolt on the pulley easy as to remove.

Thanks for this, a great tutorial. Just did mine based on this, and yes the job is very easy. Took me about an hour including smoko!...but could be done much quicker. I liked your idea of putting some extra marks on top of the injector pump pully.... makes it much easier to check from the top. I also found that one of those small telescopic mirrors comes in very handy. Some others suggesting removing the radiator or fan, but like you, none of this is necessary if you put your tools in the right position, although I did remove the 3 bolts holding the power steering reservoir in place and pushed it back out of the way. I didn't have a bull bar on mine so I didn't need to climb into the engine bay, it was very easy just working from the front leaning over.

It’s a service interval, same as your service light. I’d recommend doing it as soon as you can. You can go on for awhile it’s just how long you’re willing to risk it
