Hell yeah dude! Once allotment is done and you are on your final set up(tires, suspension) then save your measurements and record numbers. High end suspension requires constant maintenance, and constant maintenance means disassembly of parts. This will help with the reassembly process after maintenance is done 🙌🏻

Can you go over your rack setup please? Im about to pull the trigger on a marlin crawler rclt kit with the 200 series rack setup. Your setup looks very interesting and very strong as well too.

Thanks for stopping by. I have a modified Tundra steering rack. There’s a couple of videos about that floating around to describe the modification but to break it down: the shafts are machined to accept Tacoma tie rod ends. The new versions of the Tundra rack requires less modification. Meaning, you are not required to cut out new barrels on your frame holding the steering rack. The one I have is different as I had new barrels cut out as I’m using Tundra’s rack bushings as they would be stronger than the new modified ones with the spacer pucks that the makers of this kit is offering. You also need to modify the steering shaft by shortening it or getting a Lexus steering shaft if you wanna avoid having to cut and weld. Lastly, this steering rack will not work on Marlin Crawler’s RCLT. That specific kit requires the LC 200 as it matches that geometry. That said, the Tundra steering rack is actually stronger than the LC200 steering rack. Why? Simple. Much beefier. Good luck!
