I have a question. Was this done on a previously stock suspension? I ordered the N3 Loaded 3inch lift struts from Rough Country under the impression that I could put them on my stock 06 TRD Sport 4x4, and got it all torn apart, and then the upper control arms just wouldn’t come together no matter how hard I tired. So after 6 hours I’m back to my stock suspension and wondering why the heck it didn’t work, when it is advertised to work with a stock truck. Thanks!

I did mine recently, and you can do it much quicker just removing the lower ball joints, strut Mount, sway bar end link and loosening the lower control arm and letting it drop down out of the way. The strut slides down and out and new one up and in.

What is all involved doing a 3 inch body lift on a tacoma? the bed looks the easiest to do but looking under the hood looks like there is much to extend possible the fuse box wire harnesses, heater hoses, block to raise brake lines, power steering hoses, washer hose, ac aluminum lines, radiator lift, bumper lift, looks like much to do it.

my 2020 came stock with Bilstein shocks, as I can see your did too, I did 3 inch lift with Bilstein coils and new shocks, rides amazing. rough country, I'm my opinion great for running boards but personally not liking the ride with there suspension. one thing I never here anyone mention is if they recalibrated the ADAS system after adding large tires and a lift kit. every time you fart, the system need to be reset. I'm getting ready to have it done for the third time in the 7 months I had my truck because of a cracked windshield. reason to keep it calibrated is one it works right, and if your in a accident and it wasn't done a lawyer will have a field day in court. just my opinion. good job, glad you brought up the alignment. get rid of the claw hammer and get a ball ping hammer. your not going to be removing nails on that truck.
