And love your music also, bit like dj cam, dj kicks, dj shadow-style trip hop, if you read, send me some names ;) (i love HA, nodered, overruling apps and connecting everything, i control everything in my house this way also... and if you not already know this; check the OpenTherm Gateway, to also control your heater...)

It's really interesting that almost every device in your home seems to have some sort of an API you can integrate with. Maybe it's the same for me but I'm just unaware of that :D

like the logic of what you call the "Power Set" and the logic of the array.. Trying to do something similar with power received from solar panels.. and using the power information to help me appreciate panel orientation.. such that i can put the panels into the best position to collect the most power without any light sensors.. if i have a 2 axes.. panel (up down left right) .. without sensors move the panels to the highest power collection position.. (also.. I miss your post about moments in your life.. )

So glad you're back! But what abouy just linking the IP address with the device name somewhere. So you can link the wattage with the IP? When adding a ne device, isn't your whole way of working wrong? (just another dev trying to think about this whole approach! Love the videos!)
@haydo8373

Glad to see you again :) For the algorithm calculating the devices I thought of something else given the big difference between them: gist (dot) github (dot) com/EyLuismi/d78a9720fcbbbca743398cb48f5ee772 Basically, substracting from more to less given a margin of error. Of course, it's just another solution :D Hope to see a new vlog soon!
