Great looking cornbread Joey. And your camera "lady" did a nice job on the camera. Thanks Leno! You know in the old days they use to use what they called butter bells to keep the butter in on the counter - or Hoosier - back before they had refrigerators ... and the FDA guidelines. 🙄 They came in many designs but basically, they were small cups that you'd put water in and then the tops were usually dome-shaped and you'd press the butter in it and turn the top and butter down into the top of the water. That would hold it for several days. Of course, all of it only last so long refrigerated or not. But it's MUCH easier to use soft as opposed to cold and hard.

Great video, takes me back to when I was young. We used to grind our field corn for the chickens into chops and some meal, then tighten the gears for corn meal for my grandmother. Used a Farmall H with an 8 inch wide belt. The grinder was all metal, think it is Messer, had a big pulley on the tractor and grinder, and held several washtubs of shelled corn that was shelled on the hand cranked sheller with a big wheel for momentum to keep it shelling. It was a lot of work but a cool operation. Shucked it with a short deer horn tied on a cotton string to your middle finger to open shucks after drying the picked corn in a corn crib which was attached to the barn and sides were cedar posts and staves under a tin roof. Wished I could get it to your plow day. The H hasn't run in years though.

If you put a light coating of grease on all the shinny places of the plow lays. The next time you use it the grease will come off in the first 20 to 30 feet you use it and the dirt won't stick to it. My dad always had my brother and I grease them and it worked every time

If you dont want to purchase or hook up the grinder, you can grind cornmeal in the kitchen blender. Most people have a blender and you can grind until you get the fines you want. Just be sure to put the lid on before you press the grind button.

Not really, I've ground 5 or 6 pounds in a few minutes when we ran out of corn meal for a big fish fry and it doesn't even get warm. It's designed for grinding.

Hey Danny There true to size. I did start getting a little separation on the sole about a month after that video. I’m pretty rough on boots though. Red Wing gave me a pair of super sole 402 and they have been a real boot. They do cost a lot but for what I do to them they hold up nice.

@@Jtwes I appreciate you getting back to me. I'm a cook at a local steak house so believe it or not I go through a pair of boots every 8 months to one year. And ive had thorogoods, justin, wolverine and ariat all lasting no more than a year working there. I just can't afford to pay top dollar for boots that don't last any longer than a off brand boot.
