This is when he was still more of a hustler than a comedian. He hustled his way into the business forreal. Martin wasn't playin' when he brought him on his show as Hustle Man. That is who he is.

yall not realizing this was back in 1992. definitely comedy jam was created just for these guys and many many others, they all just about started here...thanks to Russell Simmons ND martin....this got them out of clubs and onto big screen much much faster than going club to club performing for nothing making no money... Chris tucker, berries mac, Steve Harvey cedric. d.l. hughley, a delve givens, felicia from friday, many more, go back and look at the names...many great black actors of today we're once comedians hell bill cosby, Eddie and Charlie murphy....Kevin Hart all of em, each with their own story to tell that's what made them funny...they share. REAL life experiences. and this show put them in the light in front to of a black audience that can relate unlike the clubs....know some history before ya talk shit... be grateful not ashamed of who you are and where you come from as a race and as a person
