At the beginning of this weeks episode we visit O Burgo Restaurant Lousã for lunch. It is a very popular Portuguese restaurant with a fantastic reputation. We enjoy different Portuguese Petiscos (tapas) as a starter; Chouriço assado, Rabaçal cheeses, pickled salads, bacalhau (cod) fritters and cold meat. I have slow cooked wild boar and chestnuts for my main with sides of roasted rosemary potatoes, creamed spinach and sautéed cabbage as sides. Dave really enjoys a massive sirloin steak with a creamy mushroom sauce. For pudding I have the restaurants signature O Burgo fruit cake while Dave enjoys a chocolate mousse. With drinks (2 beers and a bottle of house red) our meal came to €25pp which is fantastic value for the quality, amount of food and service. The restaurant is also in a beautiful location. Later on we visit São Martinho do Porto as it's Brân's birthday and he loves the beach! Following a TripAdvisor recommendation I check out Capela de Sant Ana and the view does not disappoint! I hope you enjoy this weeks video.
