God cannot accept imperfectness and we are imperfect cause we are sinners. People need salvation because god is perfect. God loves sinners (us) so much that his son Jesus Christ died in the cross for our sins so we can repent and follow him. The door is still open to this day! But there will be a time where that door will be shut. We cannot earn our salvation through good things we do. Salvation is through repenting of your sins, believing on what Jesus Christ did, and follow his ways. This is the gift from god here. Jesus became sin and died so we can have a clean record. John 3:16 For god so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

The idea behind tattoos is actually fairly simple puncturing a little amount of skin and in jecting ink into it. But the difficult part is how people make it beautiful and I've always been fascinated by tattoo artists and always had respect for them, but this... this is on a different level!

About the pronunciation...(a theory but a logical one) I'm a Filipino and locals from Angono(Rizal province) pronounce it as A-ngo-no. Traditionally pronouced Ang-go-no. But the non-local's "tongues" pronounced it A-ngo-no so the locals adjusted over the years until almost no one pronounces it the way it was originally pronounced because you would sound "different" from the rest and ironically end up like you are the stranger. Whang Od in their tongues could be pronounced "F" but they hear us pronounce what we see ("W") so I think they just give it back to us. Maybe "language by convention" (vocabulary by collective agreement) in some subconscious level...☺ When strangers mispronounce something, locals let it go instead of correcting, only to find a thousand more strangers mispronouncing. Then the "let go" builds up until everyone thinks they're correct. Whang-Od...written with a "W", pronounced with an "F", but they will openly pronounce it "W" knowing tourists pronounce it that way.

Taps ink with a tree thorn to make artistic symbols that have had meaning for over 100s of years. Every single tattoo she makes, be it 5 a week or 500, have deep cultural meaning that non of us will ever understand. You.. may just be "anybody" but I bet to her all people who make the long trek to meet her have meaning. This trip and tattoo probably is not for you. I'm sure there are more interesting things you can find to travel to that only 8 people have ever done. Maybe that will hold meaning for you.
