For longer driving on sand videos, feel free to watch my 2013 vids of the very same nature:
• DRIVING ON THE BEACH I...
• DRIVING ON SAND IN DAY...
In this 2015 vid, driving on S Atlantic Ave in Ponce Inlet (that's south of Daytona Beach), at the beginning you can see the area for the traffic beach entrance, when I turn around in the back you see the entrance for the local Lighthouse Point Park, the road is actually a dead end, then I turn around and getting on the beach.
FREE access by car on the beach after 5pm.
This traffic beach entrance is the most southern in the entire Daytona Beach area.
Lots of traffic beach entrances from Ormond Beach in the north to Ponce Inlet in the south, just look for the traffic beach entrance signs.
Here you have all the info about driving and parking on the beach:

You MUST drive on sand at least once anytime you're in beautiful Daytona Beach area.
Some personal tips for driving on sand:
- evaluate the sand condition BEFORE adventure yourself with your car on the beach,
- drive in the traffic lane only, that's where the sand is very good for all types of tire profile,
- when you decide to park your vehicle on the beach, check the sand condition for that particular self-chosen spot, visually but even better, get out of the car and check the sand with you own hands or feet, how deep it is, etc.
- if everything looks fine, park your car in that particular spot and enjoy the beach.
Lots of YT vids with idiot drivers getting stuck on sand in Daytona Beach.
You don't wanna be one of those idiots and stupid drivers, do you?
Enjoy driving on sand in Daytona Beach.
Enjoy your Daytona Beach vacation.
Be safe out there.
God Bless.
