I've had this model for a couple of months now and am very happy with it although the night images suffer badly from digital noise. Have had it out 24/7 all this time and not had to change the batteries yet. Recently purchased the Victure HC500 which has much better video quality although strangely doesn't detect movement as well as the 300. when I set the one above the other the 300 will activate 100 times to just 24 times with the 500, both are in maximum sentetivity.. Love you're reviews always a pleasure to watch. BTW what is that guitar score in the first half, it is beautiful.

Get onx app from the app store and use that when you go out on public land and mark your location when you find the perfect spot for your cam. I live in the upper peninsula and I often travel far out in the boondocks-- most of the time it's completely alien land to me. Never scouted or walked it. I'll place trail cams everywhere and not even think twice about where because I'll always place a marker on onx. No matter what, I can always find that cam. I'll check the cams usually every six months. I use black wire rather than straps. (Strap make make the trail cam stand out to the eye) and i always use Energizer lithium batteries.

I forgot where I put a camera once. I actually thought someone had stolen it. It was in place for 2 yrs. Evidently it was low on battery life and put in a bad place because I only got about 60 pictures and only 5 of them were deer, and 3 were of coyotes. The rest were squirrels, opossums, and an occasional raccoon. The only noteworthy picture was a beautiful Red Tail Hawk that landed on a limb less than 5 ft. from the camera. The strange thing about it was that it was located on the trail I used to get to my deer blind. I must have ridden my 4-wheeler or walked by it more than 100 times during those 2 yrs. without noticing it.

Maybe Bigfoot changed the location of your camera so he could hunt where your cam was & not get caught on cam lol, from what I have heard that Bigfoot might be able to see the infrared light that scans for movement so they avoid the cameras all the time. There has only been one camera sighting of a Bigfoot where it stuck it's face right against the camera looking into it & the camera only caught the eye & about half an inch all around it's eye, nothing else. The best part that you should have taken notice of was if the camera's position that you found it had the exact same trees in front of it or was the camera on a different tree somewhere else. If it was in the same place then you had plotted it's placement incorrectly but if the actual camera had moved location then it mean either a person or Bigfoot had moved it without you knowing.

Some distance from where you thought you put it and a smudge on your lens. But pretty neat videos of wildlife.

Great video. I have that cam too. Small price for a good battery life. It does seem too bright in a small area with its night vision though.

That deer stays in the camera. You must be in sasquatch territory. The deer feels like that is a safezone.

Well real obvious that trail cam wasn't hanging in the same place for that long. Went from a flat little clear spot to a grown up place without the same trees in the frame. So tell us some more lies.
