Great video again. A trucker's life is seldom easy, that's why I only do 3 days a week. That driver who alerted you to the smoke from your trailer is an absolute star! That is brotherhood or sisterhood, makes it all worthwhile and proud of our industry!

Hi Raul Great video I worked in international transport for 36 years, l can relate to a lot of your issues. I remember in the 80’s one of our drivers Bob Burnham had a trailer fire on a load coming back from Switzerland due to faulty brakes. He just managed to unhitch the trailer before it went up .😳 the trailer and mixed freight were a complete write off 😢

In feel like the US trucker "cb radio" still being a thing would have been super handy for the other driver letting you know what was going on. I should pay more attention on the highway to see if US truckers in my area still have CB radio antennas on their trucks these days.

unfortunately the UK made it illegal to use a radio while driving

Great video, raul. I was an hgv driver for 33 years. Got out of it last year. Its a crap job. Lifestyle. No time for family . Drive a van now. 13.00 an hour. Get home every night . .it keeps you fit.

I've seen that brake issue a lot when I worked as a shunter at the bus depot. The fitters called it a "hot brake" and yes they do catch fire big time if not spotted. As for people glorifying the industry yes I do it too BUT if something goes wrong on the road you can have the day from hell. You have to come into the job realising that sometimes the road can be a cruel place, sometimes trucks break, sometimes idiots hold you up, sometimes people just like to delay you to piss you off. But hey driving Class 1 beats working for a living LMAO 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Filming at nights fine as can see inside and outside and hear you and the videos about the life and trucking does go on in the dark! And i like to see the journey not just snippets here and there as too many on here just do short bits here and there and most ive unsubscribed now.
