definitely a kawasaki guy...i get restoring these things, total nostalgia from childhood...whatever you had as a kid, you get a restored one for garage art now that you have more disposable income...you guys are doing a great service

If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? I appreciate you guys giving all the bikes, the good, the bad, and the ugly, a voice beyond the grave to keep the ever flickering flame stoked during these suffocating times.

Great line up of old Kawi’s! Nice find on both Harley’s too. What I’ve always loved about the Road King is that it faces up like an old 50’s-60’s Panhead Dresser. Just like what I grew up around. Good haul guys!

It was a blast from the past for you kap. It really was for me. That yamaha was my sister and my first motorcycle. 60cc. That kd 125 with the rack on it, was my 3rd bike. Pops got that one for me because it has a 6 speed transmission. That way, I could keep up with the bigger bikes on top end! Thanks for reviving those memories! Sending it to my pops

Man those bring back memories. I had a KE125 when I was 14 and rode the crap out of it. Stripped the turn signals thru on some knobbys dropped the counter shaft sprocket 1 tooth and tore up the woods. Thats a few summers I would love to go back to!

Awesome Video. 2 beaùtuful Harleys, and I loved those sick and gorgeous vintage 2 stroke dirtbikes. Love the way the vintage 2 strokes looked, more so than the new 2 strokes, although the new 2 strokes are fastier and torquier. ML&R. PS. I would have loved to have seen that Chevelle and Camaro. I was hoping that you were gonna buy them! I love old muscle cars, especially 70's Vettes, with t-tops with a 454, 4 on the floor. I'd love one with the Kiss Destroyer Album Cover, Airbrushed on the Hood. Their Rock and Roll Over Album would look nice airbrushed too!

When my dad surprised me at the dealership with my first bike in 78, by saying "which one do you want?", I immediately ran to that smaller M model 100. It fit me perfectly. He got me the larger KE100 instead so I could grow into it. That bike served me well and the memories created by it are among my fondest. I ride a KLR and a VTX1800C now. I still have interest in getting a street legal, air cooled, 2 stroke, 250cc such as the KE250 or similar. I like that old, street legal Honda Elsinore 250 as well, I think it was the "MT", but not sure. Eric in NC

I have the exact kd100 sitting in my garage, except it has the green tank from 1975 on it. Still have the orginal silver, with the orange stripe going through the kawasaki logo. Looks like that kd80 has a 1974 green tank on it. I gunna have to call and get some prices from these guys. I love what they do, and it would be a once in a lifetime experience to visit the museum, and I can only imagine what it costs to operate such a huge endeavor, but if you can, please be nice with the prices. Exspecialy on the old 2 strokes, but then again that's what alot of people are lookin for. I would love to own the matching 125cc of the kd100. Those bikes were only made for 2 years, I think. In silver with the orange stripe anyway. 1976 & 1977. I'll be sitting down when I call. Hope it's before you start working on them. Oh and by the way, those tanks aren't creased, so it should be a breeze to take the dents out

Definitely sell some as is barn find bikes. You’ll broaden your clientele for sure. Not everyone can swing a restored bike. Reminds me of Ghost Motorcycle back in the day. A good selection of minor projects will help somebody cross off something from their bucket list.❤

Update: I now ride a 2 stroke! I ride single track and got rid of the kx450 and got a husky TE300. I was running it in the garage and the wife came out and said that thing stinks!! No way. I proceded to tell her how sweet that 2stroke smells. I wrote this before watching. After watching, My first bike was a 70 something Suzuki 125 2 stroke. Just like Ken said we all started out on.

KE125/175/250. The rotary valve Kawasakis are great on the street. -lots of clean upper rev, but not the best torque for trails. -get the bigger KEs for the better torque >KE100. -Street Legal.
