I was not able to find terry in the movie!! ILL look again...anyway this was a great movie! Slightly top bloody for mixed company to watch, and they could have received the same impact and got their points across if they had reduced the excessive profanity and totally avoided the nudity....+ I would have been thrilled to death if the director had eliminated the abundance of unneeded violence! Im aware that this movie was rated " R" but you could've made much more money from this movie if you would have left out more annoying unnecessary scenes by reducing an excess of redundant all the wall stuff such as Lonzo pulling over the young white boy & his girl from the other side of the tracks with intentions of buying weed! Other than that excellent flick.😅

Hate when people say Denzel is Denzel in every movie, because he's not, he hits different emotions eloquently. Just because he's great at everything, doesn't mean he's doing the same thing every time, he just adapts that well, it's effortless. This is defeat, anger, desperation, panic. It's a different person, personality, emotions than shown in John Q, Glory, Malcolm X, Man on Fire, and even Equalizer. He's truly a master, and the greatest of his generation.

There are real life police officers who are just as arrogant as Alonzo Harris is in this clip. They really believe that badge makes them untouchable. (Denzel Washington's acting was outstanding in this movie!)

Most people who are police officers are scary mfs scared to throw hands or threw hands, got they🤬whipped and still can't let the 🤬go so they get a badge and a gun and hunt down anybody that resembles the one that rocked their🤬 shoots them down and feels a level of revenge and satisfaction . Need I say more?

This scene right here cemented his Oscar win. Lonzo was despicable and Denzel played him to perfection.

Club Shay Shay's Terry Crews interview brought me here. I've seen Training Day when it came out, but I never noticed that was Terry. He said that role led to Friday After Next. The director saw him just standing behind the lines and asked him to join the scene because of his looks. He had just started going back to the gym. It reminded me of that saying you don't have to get ready if you stay ready.

He won the Oscar for this movie but in reality it was the movie before this that should have garnered him the Oscar!

And another universe, Jake became 1 of 3 of Brooklyn's finest. He eventually lost his life in the line of duty serving a warrant at Echo Park.
