Training for a 50K Ultra - Back to Back Running
I’ve just started a 16x week training program for a 50k in March and there is a lot of back-to-back running on it.
I have usually avoided running consecutively in fear of injury but now I’m wondering if this is actually a key part of the training. Running on tired legs. Or can I swop that second run session for a bike session?
Advice please 🙏🏻
Ps I am soon to be 50 and now on HRT if that makes any difference 💪🏼
