Everything you said in the first minute was absolutely spot on mate. I think the same thing all the time when I see people who've never even trained before get left to themselves with no gym staff around and NO FUCKING IDEA what they're doing

Oh man, if you were a local I would definitely pay some $$$ to see you! I went to a physio therapist last week after trying to sort out my own shoulder issues with some research, and I thought I had more answers then he did! He didn't even look at my posture, thoracic, neck, or anything else. He tested my external rotation (which my left side gave out and now I'm rehabbing), and my internal rotation. Dug his fingers around my shoulder and chest, and gave me two external rotation exercises. I have pain from benching which I've gathered is one of the biceps tendons due to over use or weakness, and I also have some sort of impingement with overhead presses and lateral raises, which he didn't really touch on much. I realise I have a weak back, so that needs more work. I never really did lat exercises so there's that as well which will help pull the humerus down. The obvious external rotation in the 2 planes, stretching the chest and front of shoulders, and now I think I need to do some more upper back to work the mid/lower traps and rhomboids. Might need 2 back days and slow down on the chest day. I just wish I could train shoulders already. At least my front delts and rear delts get some action.
