I already did a video about aligning and tramming my milling stack, consisting of a Proxxon BFB 2000 mill/drill stand, a Proxxon KT 150 compound table, a Proxxon BFW 40/E spindle and Röhm 863422 machine vise (link below).
But I think we could do better on the tramming side. So I made a collet for the spindle clamp to hold my dial gauge (link below). Let’s see if we can get the z-axis within a few hundreds of a millimeter of being perpendicular with the table.
