Hey, for anyone wondering, the audio from the first one is a guy called yungblud. He is an English music artist who is all about finding family in people like you. He is such an incredible person and you don't have to like his music just feel safe when he talks. He has been in a few of these video wether the lgbtq+ person met him or its an audio. He is the best kind of person and I highly recommend everyone, wether they are looking for family or not, to go check him out. Spread the love 🖤🧷🖤 Edit: he was also in that same clip on stage running away from the crowd in a white t shirt holding up a pride flag

Every time I see a clip of another afab non-binary person doing a "this is my voice [insert period of time] on T" video I start to nervously sweat and think about how it's probably not super normal to experience euphoria when you get laryngitis so bad your voice drops for a week. I can't imagine a future where I open my mouth to speak and am not repulsed by the pitch, HEAVEN FORBID hear a recording of myself. I'm too terrified of all the other things T might do to my body that I do not want, and scared of the inevitable obnoxious disgust from family.

I RELATE COMPLETELY I find my voice repulsive too, and I really want a deeper voice but i don't want all the other things T would give me so that's frustrating And also the homo/transphobic family thing I feel that and it sucks Doing voice training to try and sound more masc can work, but i haven't been able to do that because i don't get a moment alone with my mom constantly barging in my room unannounced Hopefully things get better for you soon 🫂 things will be rough but they can get better :]

11:35 Im kind of scared of the affects T will have on my voice bc I lowkey dont like the feeling of a low voice in my throat and far prefer the feeling of higher pitches (like im talking about the physical feeling, its the vibrations or smthn idk) and am kinda scared of losing that. I was thinking about maybe taking a couple lessons w a singing teacher or smthn to learn excercizes and such to keep some of those high notes. I know its gonna lower but maybe i can avoid completely losing a high voice. Also, other than for passing, i dont rlly desire a lower voice since i cant actually hear myself very well while im speaking so i dont usually get voice dysphoria all that much. I think im gonna need sacrifice some things to get where i want.

Why do we have to blame entire groups of people for something a few people do/have done? That's like saying ALL women emotionally abuse their husbands or something. Hold the proper people accountable for their actions. Also, group punishment is a cruel and unusual punishment.
