Great video. I grew up in Labrador City from 1960-1984. Living on the island of Newfoundland now. I’m your new subscriber 👍

Thanks for bringing us along on your trip through this beautiful country. I enjoyed seeing this country through your lenses. Also some great trip planning advice for travellers like myself planning to take this route up into Newfoundland.

John, thank you. Yes the Navigator did a fabulous job. When we prepared for the trip, Ursula found the "Emergency Satellite Phone Loan Service" on the Trans-Labrador Highway. A free service that will give you peace of mind. We didn't include the information in the video or on the website, but you can find pick-up/drop-off locations @ www.gov.nl.ca/ti/files/publications-satellite-phones-on-tlh.pdf . We had to ask around to find the exact location (desk). We suggest that you call first and inquire about phone availability. They may be in use. Have a wonderful trip. Dieter

@@NavigatorAndWheelman Thank you ! I watched more of your videos today and realize how much I missed . I was already thinking about picking up a camper and doing the trip again but after watching your trip it does appear to be a better way to actually see the area . On a bike your trip can get more dictated by the weather and you just want to get through it . I want to get a camper to visit and enjoy the area like you guys did . Thank you

Beautiful scenery. I enjoyed watching your video. Its sad the heater stop working. You also mentioned the potholes causing problems with your trailer. It's so nice to have a comfy bed and permanent places to store dishes and food. That's what I called glamping. Ha ha How is your trailer holding up? Apparently since 2008 trailers have not been made well. I had a 4700 + kg trailer with two axles. This one was made very well. Please pay extra attention to your roof and seals so you don't get leaks. Thank you for sharing

Thanks for the tips, we had the seals checked at the factory in Montreal. It looks as if the leaf springs is something that needs replacing like the wheel bearings and breaks. We travelled well over 40,000 km with the trailer. The heater works again, needed a good cleaning. In our Prolite Mini 13 ft trailer, there is not much room. However, we appreciate the comfort when the weather turns wet and cold.

Wonderful video Dieter. Your journey closely paralleled ours even down to the broken heater 😂😂We left Bai Comeau on June 4, 2022 just a few days behind you and stayed in many of the same places and did the same things. You can compare our experiences at kzitem.info/news/bejne/o6WZnZ1ti2uLmnYsi=xtZYVf9d6x3OL2g_ Bai Comeau starts about 5 mins in. Like you, we were overwhelmed by the sheer size and scale of Labrador. It was easily the highlight of our 22,000 km trip across the continent. Thanks for sharing and happy further travels Martin
