It is about preferences! I had a church friend ages ago who was attracted to Asian women even though he is a white man. He wound up getting married to a Chinese American woman. He was not racist or a fetishist. Same with a white coworker who was attracted to Hispanic men. I had a notorious reputation for quirky tastes that usually began with tall and slender men. Some people like long hair on men; in a lot of Native American cultures it is considered manly like a mane on a stallion or lion. In some countries, women like bald men and consider it very manly. I'm so sick and tired of the double edged swords. If you aren't attracted, it makes you racist or phobic or whatever, but if you are attracted then it makes you fetishist or chaser or something else creepy. Am I ageist for not being attracted to kids or men old enough to be my grandfather, or misogynist if I am not attracted to women? Good effing grief!

I’d say it’s more socialization influencing their behavior than biology (expecting to be coddled, etc). Similarly to using biology as a scapegoat for _any_ male to be aggressive, trans or not. It’s a socialized thing as well. It’s the same reason (socialization) that gay bio-males will grope women and then go “why do you care, it’s not like I’m interested.” That’s socialization. (Also that is a real problem if not a ‘small’ one: some of the entitlement of gay men can rival that of the woke trans+. You can see it in the Mulvyney [glad I can’t spell his name to save my life so I don’t get flagged] thing where he did the same over the top “girlish” [mockery] behaviors on, I believe, the price is right as as flaming gay guy. Nothing can ever satisfy these people. They just wanted attention from the beginning. Like, damn, if I had someone "chasing" me, I probably wouldn't be so eager to get rid of them. On top of that, these people really don't seem to understand what it is to be a man. They're going into men's spaces (gay dating apps) and then not understanding the "unspoken rules" about the conduct and expectations of the men they're surrounded by. I'm not gay myself and don't use gay dating apps, or dating apps in general, but it's not hard for me to imagine what a men's dating app would look like on the inside because, as a man, I know what the expectations would be. What this person is calling "red flags" (a man telling the other man what to expect) is actually men just being transparent and honest with each other. That's what men call a green flag. We don't lie to each other and talk in coded language. The gay men in this situation are being straight up and telling each other what they want from each other during the hookup so there are no misunderstandings and so that both people can have access to "informed consent." Women will be all like "men don't know how to communicate" when really, we're just being plain and transparent with our language. If you're being transparent and you're meeting up for sex, yeah, the start of the conversation is probably going to be explicit and saying "I wanted to do x and y" gives better quality information to the other person than "I kinda wanted to - you know, do some things, you know?" You know? Do you know? What does the other person know? No, they don't know. Just say what you mean. That's what those people are doing. They're being transparent. Like I said, informed consent. Its explicit, but its transparent and is preferable to the alternative of agreeing to what you *think* you know of the other person's expectations. It's like going into a hi-fi headphone shop and then acting disappointed when the headphone shop, specifically for selling high-end headphones, doesn't offer you some gardening pots, a bag of fertilizer, and a packet of seeds. Or alternatively, going into a bookstore and then hoping for a demo room with a super loud seven channel surround sound system. Or going into a gardening store/plant nursery and wondering why they aren't selling the latest Galaxy S23 Ultra. I mean, you can "expect" whatever you want to expect from those shops. But for people with a modicum of societal intelligence, the name of the shoppe should go some way into forming your expectations. And you have only yourself to blame if you expected the makeup/beauty products boutique to be selling you cars like they were a dealership. I don't mean to sound "tr@zph0bic" but their female mindset is really shining through here with how they just fundamentally don't seem to understand men. They'll say they "feel like a man on the inside" but nothing coming from their "inside" is speaking to my "inner man" on a spiritual level or "genderized" level or whatever you want to call it. I detect no masculine camaraderie from these people, only feminine resentment that their expectations are not the world's standards. While they might "look" (passably) like men, they probably shouldn't get on men's dating apps until they start to *act* like men. As a hint, most men aren't using dating apps to find a long term relationship. (I would even hazard a guess that even women aren't doing that either.) Men will usually go out in public and meet people when they want to find a proper romance.

these rants just show how isolated they are. probably no one sane from LGB can stand them to explain how LGB dating scene works and what are key differences between gays and lesbians (or men and women in general, as we speak about sex drive here). no one uses dating apps to make new friends, if they don't want to hook up with someone then off to the park, or cafe, gym, meet people, talk to them like all humans do.

I’m a gay guy and you my good sir are 100% correct. They do sound like women… cause no offense to them but they are biological women at the end of the day. It’s just the facts. I will respect them and call them he/him, but I am going to question why are they seeking “gay men.” They think for some reason gay men are going to be someone more “gentle” to them??? First of all a bunch of bi and pan guys use the app too, so it’s not really so much a “gay” male dating app anymore after a bunch of biological women (nonbinary) and trans men started coming into that app. There are still tons of biological men there, but now we have to worry about offending trans people on a dating app designed for men seeking men? We are way more upfront and yes a lot aren’t nice about it cause they just want to hook up. I’ve been saying it for a while, a lot of them shouldn’t be using that app and instead go safer spaces designed more to fit their needs if they can’t handle biological men being biological men. They say that’s gatekeeping and yes it is; cause you are coming onto an app not designed for them and then getting pissed it isn’t and wanting to complain and change everything to include them destroying the original purpose of the app in the first place. These people hate anytime they are told no, asked to respect boundaries, or told this isn’t for them… I feel really bad for lesbians cause it’s even worse on their apps with all the men and trans women on them now harassing them for not wanting D**k. It’s just a bunch of crappy insecure people harassing strangers to sleep with them and “validate” them. Go out and touch some grass people and actually meet someone in the real world.

I especially hear this from heavier women - many of which are oblivious to just how many guys would gladly date them if they weren't so close-minded. These sorts of people, for all their talk of sex positivity and consent, spend all of their time kink shaming grown adults who don't share their radical views about relationships. @@SteveWray the term "cis" was coined by pedophile-sympathizer Volkmar Sigusch, the same sexologist who coined many of the words currently used by transactivists and who said "There is nothing wrong with pedophilia in the sense of the word, that is, against liking, even loving, children. The sensuality that unfolds between a child and an adult is something wonderful."

I have a theory. The kind of trans people who say these sorts of things are the same kind of trans people for whom being trans is their whole identity. So you would think that someone being attracted to them specifically because they are trans would be appealing to them. But it's not. And I think it's not because they instinctively know that someone should be attracted to more than what you look like. But at the same time their whole identity is being trans. So there's this cognitive dissonance going on. Which is uncomfortable. Especially when it involves your entire sense of self. And I think they project the source of that discomfort onto the person who is attracted to them. But in doing so they fail to understand something fundamental about relationships. And that is that they have to start somewhere. I'm pretty short. And I've had men tell me they find me attractive because they find short men attractive. I don't go "Ewww! Get away from me." I take the W. Because I understand that attraction has to start with something. Whether that's your height, your body type, your eyes, your laugh - whatever. There has to be something that sets things in motion. But these emotional cripples don't understand that. They don't understand how relationships begin or how they develop. And they don't know those things because they don't know themselves. And they don't know themselves because they have run away from themselves and wrapped their entire identity up in being "trans".

I can't imagine being the type of person who wakes up every day choosing to be a miserable cow. "If you don't want to date me you're bad" "If you want to date me you're bad". You can't have it both ways!!! These trans men can't figure out dating because they're looking at it through the lens of a woman. Same with manhood in general. Reminds me of the trans man who cried about how hard it is to be a man because women don't approach them the way they did before the transition. This is exactly why I don't believe most of the people claiming to be trans these days are trans. (Aside from the exhibitionists). A few like you and Blaire I can see clear as day ARE real trans people. Some of these other folks are ao deep into cosplaying that they believe their own lies *to an extent. Certain things like accomodations ONLY for trans women but not trans men in bathrooms, sports, locker rooms and other womens spaces are made. But not for trans men. What about trans men who need feminine hygiene trashcans in MENS stalls? Oh wait. They don't believe in their own bs! It's why you don't see trans men in mens spaces. Don't ever see any trans men in blue collar jobs either. Ive seen straight, bi, and lesbians in bkue collar jobs. But never todays trans men.

These are the people who go on and on about “you should be attracted to my soul and how I feel inside” and are surprised on a hook up app when people just want to screw. And then they think that it must be cause of my “transition” … when it has nothing to do with that. People just wanting to sleep with you and nothing more is prevalent for everyone not just trans people. The levels of narcissism these types have is astounding to me… while working on themselves they seem to miss the part about self-awareness. Then again, they complain about fetishizing “trans” people (really the majority of these people are just non-binary and say that’s the same as trans), yet they have kind of turned the whole thing into a popular over-sexualized trend so of course people will fetishize it like crazy. Not to mention fetishes and kink are celebrated like crazy now at pride events (most of these people probably celebrating and pushing for its public visibility as well) and they’re confused about how the culture that they wanted so badly to be at the forefront has changed the LGBT “community.” These young people are really clueless of any long term effects of what they are pushing for will have and now they are starting to see the negatives of what making trans and non-binary a popularity contest has gotten them. This is exactly why everyone is fed up of the whining these people do 24/7. Honestly, get over it and move on to someone else. Stop your whiny crap on social media for views. Side note: as a gay guy, all I hear is a lot of trans men pissed off that gay men don’t think like they would… cause trans men are biological women at the end of the day. Men and women treat sex and relationships differently; changing your appearance isn’t going to change that. On a gay male dating app and surprised biological men are on it acting like men????? Maybe it’s not the place for you… although the app for GAY MEN should have been the big obvious sign. Also, aren’t trans men being “gay men chasers” which is so laughable to me. The “gay guy” into you is probably pansexual, but rather be perceived as a “gay guy” cause apparently being a homosexual has nothing to do with body parts anymore or someone’s sex… which sounds pretty homophobic and creepy to me. But hey “gender and sexuality” is just so fluid that you need gaslight a whole community of people into wanting to sleep with you and make you feel “special.”

Two things came to mind. First of all there's no pleasing woke people - they don't even agree with each other. Whatever you do, you are always pi**ing some group off. And second... There have always been scumbags in dating world, that's not only a trans thing. I am a woman and I have met a few of them myself. There are always people who are selfish and entitled and seek only their own pleasure. All of us need to recognise who are the good ones and who are the bad ones and stay away from the people that are bad for us. They most propably won't change no matter how much they are complained about. Just avoid them, whether you are a woman, a man or a trans.

My guess is they're upset because when they encounter someone who exclusively dates trans people, that just proves that trans men n women are actually different from actual men n women. Activists want trans people to be seen as special, different or better but at the same time they want to be treated/seen exactly the same as biological men n women. Ya can't have it both ways 😑

Lemme clear this up real quick. It’s a push to seem desirable. That’s why there’s both kinds of videos, the ‘you’re transphobic for not dating us!’ AND ‘chaser’ videos. It’s why they still make ‘here’s why trans men/women are actually better!’ videos. It’s the fake it til you make it mentality to normalize it.

I've seen this behavior before. It comes from people who are determined to be victims and determined to be hated/isolated.There's a thing called 'gaijin hunters' which are Japanese people, often women, who really *really* want to date or even marry foreigners. They can also just really be fascinated with some given culture and want to be friends, too. This is notable because Japan as a whole trends toward xenophobic, and it's especially hard to get married to a Japanese person because it's pretty deeply set that 'well we can date but I'd never marry a foreigner'. The only people who really care about and complain about gaijin hunters, though, are the ones who also hyper-fixate on that xenophobic side of Japan. It's always grouchy, upset people who complain about how nobody treats them like a native even though they've lived there for x years, who also rant and rave about how gaijin hunters are only using them, or sweep up every person who wants to learn their language or culture in with 'gaijin hunters'. This is the same thing.The trans community has become so fixated on 'nobody wants to date us, we're rejected and cast out and isolated' that now it triggers cognitive dissonance when people actually _do_ - so their response is to defame and dismiss those people, so they can go back to 'nobody wants me'. Either because they've gotten addicted to being the victim, or because what they're really saying is 'specifically the people I want aren't interested'.

Most gay men who use online dating sites will confirm that people registered there don't like to waste too much time when they know what they want. You find somebody, you negotiate what you will be doing and once you have found an agreement, you meet up and do those things. Or you look for somebody else. It's more likely to find someone on a gay dating site who claims not to be gay ("No, straight as an arrow, I just feel like sucking a...") than to find somebody who wants his first date no sooner than a month from today.

@BrieontheEdge
Жыл бұрын
That's the way with most "chasers" and why, I think, many "groups" consider them to not be a good thing. Chasers see you as an object in many respects. Chasers tend to be attracted to the physical characteristic first and the person later, if at all. One night stand and no call back... anyone... anyone... Bueller? I agree with your assessment... "chasers" don't show trans women the respect they would show a "cis" woman, but then again, no "chaser" would show proper respect to the object of their chase, if that makes sense. I can be wrong and there are certainly exceptions to the rule. But how many that would be considered "chubby" (male or female or whatever) have been chased by someone who wouldn't be caught dead in public with them? To most "chasers", the object of the chase is almost always a dirty secret for them.

If you don’t know what gay guys or lesbian women expect and how they treat each other on LGB dating apps then you’re going to feel confused and hurt by what their community sees as typical dating app behavior. It’s not great, even for many in the community that app caters too, but your journey is going to be at least as bad as theirs and it’s not just because you’re trans or some other non-stereotypical gender identity.

If one wanna be respected wtih their choice of dating preference, at least also learn to respect that other people just want to be monogamous. Your last comment though about them being laid. 😅😅😅 But On the second thought, it goes to show that they are consistent... consistent being inconsistent. 😅 they cannot make up their mind about their gender, their pronouns, of course they can't also make up their mind if they wanna get laid or not.
