ACET Business Transform is an innovative private sector development project that targets Early to Growth Stage SMEs with a manufacturing or assembly component in their business model. The program offers carefully selected SMEs free, top-tier technical and managerial services, mentorship, coaching, direct financial support, and transactions advisory services.
One of the beneficiaries of the ACET Business Transform program is Groital Limited, an agribusiness focused on the cultivation and processing of fruits and vegetables into dried products for local and international supply. Groital's dried pineapple snacks are produced under strict hygienic conditions and are considered some of the best in the market.
Groital has invested heavily in perfecting the science of cultivating pineapples over the first five years of business to ensure consistent supply of high-quality raw materials. Their farmlands are located in the beautiful Aburi valleys at Nsakye, in the Eastern Region of Ghana. The company was founded with the aim of becoming a reliable large-scale supplier of fresh and dried fruits and vegetables for both the local and global markets.
The founder of Groital, Joshua Ayinbora, describes the ABT journey as amazing. The program provided them with the needed technical support to scale up their business and transform them into an investment-ready SME. Groital is a youth-driven initiative that strongly believes in making an impact in the lives of other young people across the globe.
This video showcases how the ACET Business Transform program has helped Groital Limited to thrive in the agribusiness sector and become a reliable supplier of high-quality dried pineapple snacks. Watch as Joshua Ayinbora shares his experiences with the program and how it has transformed his business into an investment-ready SME.
