During this session, participants will learn how to get the most out of their IEP & ISP Plans.
Your child will begin his transition planning from school to post graduation adulthood as early as age 14.
So how can you plan effectively for a successful transition?
We will discuss how to effectively use your IEP & ISP plans along with how to identify who should be part of your child’s transition team.
• Define IEP & ISP plans.
• At what age do these plans begin?
• How can I create an effective IEP or ISP plan?
• Is there a specific strategy when writing an effective plan?
• Who makes up a Transition Team?
• What is the importance of a Transition Team?
• What are the possible challenges families may face when creating an IEP and ISP plan & organizing a transition team.
