This was the first time I'd heard the song, "Nothing Else." Once I got home from service, I looked up the original artist in hopes of adding it to my playlist. Thank you, JT worship team, for giving us a time of worship instead of a performance.

In these verses Ex. 20:25 and Deut. 27:8-9 it is clear, yet in 1Chron22:2 David had the stones hewed as did Salomon in 1 Kings 5:17. I’m confused. Would love clarification, Shalom.

The prohibition against hewn stones was for the altar. David used dressed stone for the foundation of the temple.

@@johnholsti2724 Thank you John for taking the time to respond to my question and clearing that up for me. I appreciate it. If you don’t mind me asking another question, I have wondered if in Deuteronomy 28:18 If He could be talking about spiritual blindness as well as physical? Have a blessed day, again thank you.

@@giagrey9253 Yes. Ironically, I think this may be the primary meaning. The surrounding language; madness, groping at noon, bewilderment, etc, are all conceptual, not physical maladies. :)

@@johnholsti2724 Thank you John. I appreciate your understanding of the word. I’m always relieved when I understand something. For me this was a blessing to pick your brain a bit. I have enjoyed benefiting from your knowledge through JT and look forward to learning more from you as well as Bill and others. I love your and Bill’s exchanges on scriptures - learning much from them. I don’t have anyone that I know who is as well versed in scripture as you and I wonder if it would be alright with you if I were to contact you on other issues from time to time. I will try not to be a pest. I wouldn’t want to regret reaching out to me; to begin with. May you and your family have a blessed week. Shalom shalom.
